January Wrap-Up

I can’t believe we’re already a month through 2018. Where on earth did this month go? maybe it’s because I had my nose in several books through out the month.

This month I read through five, count them, five books. I know that’s not that impressive but it’s a lot for me. The books I read this month were:

The Girl Who Drank The Moon | by: Kelly Barnhill ★★★★★

I first heard of this book when I was scrolling through Facebook and the cover caught my eye. It was a cute read, written with younger readers in mind but that most certainly didn’t stop me from enjoying it.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire | by: JK Rowling ★★★★★

It’s Harry Potter and that’s really all that needs to be said. The forth book wasn’t one of my favorites the first time I read through the series though with this rereading I can’t remember why.

As Bright As Heaven | by: Susan Meissner ★★★★★

This was my Book of the Month book for this month and boy am I glad I didn’t skip like I was thinking about doing. It had me crying like a baby through just about half of it.

Me Before you | by: Jojo Moyes ★★★★☆

This was another reread so there was no surprises with it.

Throne of Glass | by: Sarah J. Maas ★★★★★

This is a series that’s been on my TBR list for a while and even had this book on my Kindle for close to a year but I was constantly putting it off. It just seemed like it was going to be a lot more cliche than it actually turned out to be. Now I’m mad at myself for not reading it sooner.

Goodreads challenge 5/48 complete.
